The 37-year-old double Olympic gold medallist has been putting all of his efforts into lowering his seven handicap since stepping away from professional tennis in August last year.
Leveraging Murray’s influence and passion for the game, Callaway will work with the sportsman to help introduce new and emerging audiences to golf, demonstrating its accessibility, excitement, and the unique challenges the game has which keep seasoned and new golfers striving to learn more.
Through this partnership fans will also have the opportunity to be part of Murray’s golf story, as Callaway creates exclusive content showcasing his progress, insights, and experiences on the course.
“I’ve been playing a lot of golf since I retired from tennis and Callaway have been supporting me with this,” said Murray, who is a member at Beaverbrook Golf Club in Surrey. “I was fitted at their European Performance Centre in September and I’ve been using their clubs since then. It’s made a huge difference to my performance already. I’m hoping to reduce my handicap so I’m looking forward to working with them to keep improving my game.”
