Topgolf Watford opens games arcade

10.56am 30th September 2024 - New Products

Topgolf Watford has expanded its variety of family-friendly activities with the opening of a new games arcade, following a major investment of more than £100,000.

The cutting-edge arcade is now open for play at the Hertfordshire-based venue and offers a dynamic range of more than 20 games for visitors of all ages, including classic favourites such as pool and air hockey to the latest in video-based action gaming.

Visitors can pick up a game card from Topgolf’s kiosks, top up their card with credits, try their hand at any of the arcade games, and maybe even win some prizes. Offering competitive fun with friends and family to solo gaming sessions, it’s the perfect addition to Topgolf Watford’s entertainment line-up.

To celebrate the launch, Topgolf Watford is giving away 100 hours of free arcade play from September 30 to October 6. Guests will have the chance to win one of 200 game cards, each loaded with 30 minutes of free play. The mechanic is simple: play Topgolf as usual, and if you’re lucky enough to dispense a special, coloured golf ball ahead of your game, you can redeem a free play card. Around 30 coloured balls will be loaded into the ball machine each day during the promotion, giving players plenty of chances to win.

“We are excited to be opening our new arcade at Topgolf Watford as part of our ongoing mission to provide our guests with fun, unique and memorable experiences,” said Adam Dukes, Director of Operations at Topgolf Watford. “We are committed to investing in our Watford venue and providing the very best offering for the local area, and this development is a key part of that. We can’t wait for visitors to explore and enjoy everything our new arcade has to offer.”
