EnviroMonitors are excited about the response to their soil moisture meters on show at Harrogate Week. Visitors who attended would have seen Professor Frank Rossi using the TDR300 in the slides accompanying his lecture on irrigation.

The Spectrum Technologies TDR300 and TDR100 soil moisture meters are proven to be robust and easy to use.  They have the advantage of having different length rods which are interchangeable in the field.  Greenkeepers like the flexibility and typically prefer the 38mm and 75mm lengths.

The TDR300 datalogs the readings taken. It can be used with a GPS unit to provide co-ordinates used to produce moisture maps overlaid with spray head locations.

Soil moisture is a hot topic for maintaining high quality playing surface whilst keeping water usage to a minimum.  The TDR meters provide information greens staff can use to make irrigation and watering decisions.

One enthusiastic user of the TDR visited our stand for 15 minutes sharing their positive experience of using these soil moisture meters.

TDR100 is an ideal tool for anyone on the STRI programme. They provide instant accurate spot and average readings.

Consultants often use TDR300 to offer their customers graphic presentation of moisture conditions while USA golf courses hosting PGA events use TDR300 to comply with the recording requirements.
