TaylorMade, the No.1 driver in golf, today announced the launch of a new campaign called ‘YOUR1 Summer’ intended to inspire more golfers to experience the R1, the most adjustable driver TaylorMade has ever created.
“YOUR1” alludes to the R1’s three adjustability technologies, which allow you to precisely tune the clubhead to your swing to promote maximum distance and accuracy, making it “Your R1.”
The R1 is the No. 1 driver model on the PGA Tour and has already notched 19 worldwide wins this year, including Justin Rose’s victory last week in the U.S Open Championship.*
In celebration of Rose’s victory, the “YOUR1 Summer” campaign will span both digital and social media platforms until 31st July 2013. Elements of the campaign include a ‘YOUR1 Holiday’ competition, ‘YOUR1 Golf Shot’ and ‘YOUR1 Daily’ competitions. The YOUR1 Holiday competition gives consumers the opportunity to win an all-expense paid golf holiday to TPC Sawgrass that includes 7 nights and 5 rounds of golf.
In addition, consumers have the chance to have their own ‘YOUR1 Golf Shot’ uploaded onto www.experiencetaylormade.eu/your1summer by entering it through the TaylorMade Golf Facebook page. Consumers will be invited to post images of their favourite R1 driver pose; the best photos will be selected and uploaded weekly to the YOUR1 Summer website. During the campaign period, TaylorMade will also give away 1000 R1 prizes through Twitter

The R1 is now available in black as a limited edition – TaylorMade’s first black driver since 2010. R1 Black is identical to the original R1 in size, shape and adjustability technologies; the only difference is the crown colour.
