TaylorMade Golf, makers of the No. 1 Driver in Golf*, has introduced Phenom, a set of clubs designed and engineered to support junior golfers, to encourage proper swing fundamentals through optimised lengths, weights and lofts, allowing for consistent distance gapping throughout the set for shots from tee to green. For each club in the set, the shafts have been both flex and weight-optimised and made to appropriate lengths, while the grips have been developed to meet the needs of smaller hands, allowing for feel throughout the swing.
“Phenom sets are precision-engineered to provide the optimal lengths, weights, lofts and shaft flexes to promote proper swing mechanics for young golfers. Each Phenom set includes every club necessary to develop distance gapping while executing all types of shots from tee to green so juniors not only develop their skills but also their passion for the game,” says Tomo Bystedt, Sr. Director of Product Creation, TaylorMade Golf.
From 1st June 2016 Phenom is available in two set configurations, each created for a specific size and age range of player. Both sets include graphite shafts that have been flexed specifically for junior swing speeds.
