TaylorMade Driver Tour Hits The Belfry

Visitors to be fitted for new drivers at free-of-charge Demo Day

The Belfry, four-time host of the Ryder Cup, will welcome the TaylorMade Demo Team on Saturday 7 May from 10am to 2pm for a free-of-charge Demo Day, when visitors will have the chance to test the brand’s new drivers – including the white hot R11 and Burner® Superfast models.

The Shop at The Belfry, recently voted the UK’s No.1 golf outlet by readers of Golf World magazine, was among the first in the country to stock the sensational new TaylorMade R11 driver – and now golfers can try out the club that has proven such a big hit with stars such as Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose.

“We’re delighted that TaylorMade has chosen to come here and give the West Midlands public a chance to try out some of the best drivers on the market, free of charge,” said Gary Silcock, Director of Golf at The Belfry. “TaylorMade is one of nine equipment manufacturers that we work with at the resort who recognise the pulling power of The Belfry as one of Europe’s top golfing facilities,” he added.

The Belfry’s PGA National Golf Academy – which features four different types of launch monitors, five assessment suites and 34 bays – will be open on the day for golfers to try out the new products and gain any extra advice from one of the resort’s 20 PGA Professionals.
