eVent-Fabrics_Wordmark_OrangeeVent fabrics® is pleased to welcome Stuburt Golf to the group of brands that use eVent’s patented waterproof membrane technology in footwear. Stuburt’s three styles of performance footwear with eVent will be available from major retailers in the United Kingdom and Europe.

“We’re excited to welcome Stuburt,” said Chad Kelly, Director of Sales and Product Line for eVent fabrics. “The golf market is ready for our advanced, highly breathable technology that keeps feet dry and comfortable.”

Stuburt Stacked Logo white 2011eVent’s patented Direct Venting™ (DV) technology is based on a waterproof membrane that is air permeable—meaning that billions of tiny open pores allow heat and moisture vapour (sweat) inside the footwear to escape in vapour form. The pores in the membrane are too small to let water pass through from the outside, so feet stay dry from rain and wet conditions.

“Golfers are commonly exposed to the elements,” explained Kelly. “The grass will be wet, it will shower on the far reaches of the course, and the game is played in all seasons. So waterproof footwear is critical. But eVent’s additional advantage is that it enhances breathability so feet won’t overheat. eVent lets blister-causing moisture and heat inside the shoe quickly dissipate out of the shoe for added comfort.”

Stuburt is offering three men’s footwear styles that feature eVent Direct Venting technology.
