StayPrime, the leading designer and developer of technology products for the improved management, efficiency and profitability of golf clubs, resorts and facilities, has appointed World Golf Solutions Ltd (WGS) as its UK distributors.
Part of the GolfLAN Technology Solutions group (GolfLAN), StayPrime is a complete digital toolbox that helps golf facilities to earn additional revenue, protect their courses from damage, improve customer experience, manage pace of play, run live tournament scoring and much more.
Headed by Robbie Bremner and Malcolm MacLeman, Nairn, Scotland-based WGS will initially launch StayPrime’s highly-regarded TeeWalker and Elite Pro+ GPS tracking and playing products to the UK.
TeeWalker is a rugged 5” screen smart device which can be clipped to a golf bag or trolley, placed in a golf buggy or carried in the hands of a golfer during the game. The cart-mounted Elite Pro+ has an 8” screen and provides a full buggy/cart fleet management solution, complete with cart-kill and restricted zone management.
Both products can be used by golf facilities to track and manage pace-of-play and enhance customer experience by providing visiting golfers with fully GPS-enabled, touch-screen, devices compete with course maps and flyovers.
They also provide multiple opportunities for golf facilities to generate additional revenue.
For example, golfers can use StayPrime for one-click food and beverages orders while on the course – either for collection at a halfway house, or delivery by a F&B buggy – or to be ready in the clubhouse when they finish their rounds. Already being used at many international golf locations, facilities have seen an uplift of around 30% in F&B sales because of integrating StayPrime into their operations.
Announcing WGS as its UK StayPrime distributors, c, said: “It was vital for StayPrime to appoint someone with a strong background in golf who appreciates and fully understands all the important aspects of golf club management.
“In Robbie and Malcolm at World Golf Solutions, we have two highly-competent golfers who have played the game at a very high level and, as a result, they have enjoyed and experienced all types of golf locations and operations. We are delighted to have them on board.”
Added WGS’s Malcolm MacLeman, a member at Moray GC and Nairn GC, who represented the North of Scotland at boys, youth and men’s levels: “StayPrime is something that we feel will work very well in the UK market. The versatility and unique functions offered by the TeeWalker and 8” cart device make them stand out as an all-round system that works for the golf club, the player and caddies.”
StayPrime is the ultimate tool for any golf facility that is looking to create operational efficiencies, increase revenues and provide golfers with unique experiences.
For golf club managers, daily tasks like collating cart and round reports and analysing pace-of-play can all be done from the office or on a mobile device.
For caddy masters, marshals and greenkeepers, StayPrime automates pace-of-play monitoring, tracks and manages walkers and carts, allows weather alerts to be communicated, sets restricted cart zones, activates Cart Kill and Cart Path only modes and immediately identifies bottlenecks caused by slow play.
For golf club marketing and sales managers, StayPrime generates advertising revenue, facilitates live scoring events and enables digital scorecard management.
For catering and bar managers, F&B orders can be received from any group of golfers on any hole, streamlining service and growing revenue.
Meanwhile, for golfers, their enjoyment and experience is enhanced through using 2D and 3D course graphics, touch screen yardages, receiving messages and weather alerts, sending ranger requests from any location of the course, ordering F&B and digitally saving and submitting scorecards.
