The third generation of Srixon’s UltiSoft golf ball, which will be at retail from September 19, promises to deliver greater distance while retaining soft feel and greenside spin.

Priced at £23 per dozen, the new two-piece UltiSoft retains its position as the lowest compression ball in Srixon’s range, with a new, softer FastLayer Core adding more distance while maintaining softness.

The FastLayer core gradually transitions from the soft inner core to a firmer outer edge, which, according to Srixon, makes it perform like a core with thousands of layers, delivering distance and great feel.

The soft, thin cover features a 338 Speed Dimple design, which provides the right combination of uniformity to improve aerodynamics, shot accuracy and consistency with every club in the bag. It also provides more greenside spin and softer feel on all pitches, chips and putts.
