SkyCaddie has unveiled its smartest ever golf GPS watch in the shape of the LX5C Ceramic.
The scratch-resistant LX5C ceramic bezel holds its colour and retains that ‘new’ look far longer than a traditional bezel – as seen by the recent trend towards the use of ceramic materials in the luxury watch market.
The LX5C – which has identical functionality to the LX5 – boasts an 1.39-inch, full-colour touchscreen, and features all of SkyCaddie’s exclusive terhnologies, including 35,000 ground-verified, pre-loaded course maps, HoleVue, IntelliGreen Pro and RangeVue, all in glorious high definition.
Ready to go out of the box, the LX5C comes with with a three-year premium Worldwide Membership at no extra charge, while Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity enables the user to easily sync it to get the latest course maps, or update scores and stats wirelessly to a SkyGolf 360 account.
The water-resistant LX5C boasts a hi-capacity rechargeable Li-Polymer battery that lasts up to two rounds (over three days in Time mode). It allows wearers to score as they play and track stats such as total score, total putts, fairway hit or miss, greens in regulation and much more.
More LX5C features include RangeVue yardage arcs for easy club selection, shot distance measurement, multiple tee box options, gender selection, yards or meters option, digital scorecard and multi-constellation navigation satellite capability to enhance GPS tracking.
It comes with two replaceable, soft-touch silicon wristbands, and away from the golf course it also offers multiple watch faces and time-related functions, plus a heart rate monitor and step counter.
