Purity Hemp Co. brings ‘seed to shelf’ CDB products to UK golfers

The Purity Hemp Company has been given Gold Standard ratings and global endorsement for the ‘seed to shelf’ origins and quality of its premium CBD products which are designed to help golfers relax and focus out on the golf course, while managing any subsequent pains or inflammation.

The Banned Substance Control Group (BSCG) in the USA, the world’s leading natural product tester and certifier, last week granted Purity Hemp Co. both ‘Drug-free’ and ‘Quality Gold Standard’ awards for its hemp-based range of oils, balm, edibles and infused drinks.

Among the first brands in Europe to be awarded BSCG certifications for its non-THC products, Purity Hemp Co. has also gained official Certified Quality validation from the World Anti-Drug Agency (WADA) that protects athletes competing at the highest level.

“As a keen golfer myself, this is a proud day for us to be able to announce the new certifications and accreditations.  Being able to provide the very best quality products to golfers globally, backed by certificates from leading authorities in the field of natural product testing and drug-free analysis, is game changing in the world of CBD.” said The Purity Hemp Co’s CEO and founder Michael Walker.

“We believe we set the benchmark for CBD companies in the UK and can help thousands of golfers along the way. The brand was set up five years ago and we now have all the elements in place to attack the market, including support from satisfied golfers who have sampled our products since legislation changed on extracting the natural benefits from hemp and cannabis plants. Our corporate ethos is based on traceability, transparency and trust and, unlike other CBD brands, we control every facet of the production process. It means golfers can check out cultivation, harvest, extraction and preparation of the products themselves and so be confident of the outcomes.”

Leading experts like Justin Buckthorpe MSc. of the 360 Health & Performance company, who has worked with Major-winning golf professionals for several years based on evidence-based science, are also recommending products with the Purity Hemp Co. label. “As CBD continues to grow in popularity, clients want to know where they can get high-quality products – THC and chemical free – and we choose Purity Hemp Co. as our supplier,” said Justin.

The CBD market in the UK is currently estimated to be worth £600m a year, with some 1.6 million regular users – making it the largest in Europe and bigger than the markets for Vitamins C & D combined. It is forecast to reach £1.7bn by 2025.

Walker added: “The Purity Hemp Co. sources hemp exclusively from organic farms in Holland, Canada and the USA who are part of our brand family and share the same ethos to improve life as nature intended. Having selected the perfect seed strains, nutrient rich soils and locations with an abundance of natural clean water to provide ideal growing conditions, we’re able to grow the very best organic hemp plants in Europe and in North America.  Onsite laboratories test the plants during the growing cycle, so we can be confident in the quality of our plants and extracts.

“Golfers looking to appreciate the natural benefits that CBD can offer, should check the authenticity and certification of any product to ensure it doesn’t contain harmful residuals or THC that has not been extracted properly. Consistent feedback from accomplished golfers using our CBD oils is that they take the edge off, but helps with focus out on the course, while also providing faster muscle recovery and reducing aches or pains. Taken in edible forms like our Gummy Domes or infused tea and coffee, it can prove a secret weapon over the last few holes.”
