Progen Golf, with its edgy new-look range and new attitude, was re-launched with great success to a select group of VIPs last week at Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre.

The popular golf equipment brand from the late nineties and early 2000’s has been absent from the golf industry for some time and under new ownership, has undergone a complete brand and personality makeover for the next generation of golfers.

“Golf is changing and Progen is for a new generation of golfers.  Progen is the DNA of the new generation of golfers, where it’s not just about the equipment, but the attitude” commented Product Development Executive James Graham.

“We wanted to create something a bit different and launch a brand for the new breed of golfers out there. These golfers may not play competitively or be members of clubs, but take their golf seriously. The Progen name lends itself to this perfectly and we are keen to bring to market a range of products with attitude” added Graham.

The launch epitomised the new look and attitude of the brand, with guests invited to smash up a Progen branded car on the driving range using the latest Progen golf equipment and trial the latest short-game products by a fire-lit chipping and putting green. A posse of Progen promo girls were also on-hand to assist proceedings.

The edgy new-look Progen range features three distinct product lines, under the Chromo, Haema and Red Eye sub-brand names; With the products distributed by specialist golf distribution company, UK Golf Distribution, across Europe and available in the UK through Direct Golf UK.
