powakaddy-logoNo.1 electric trolley brand PowaKaddy is set to lead the way and energise the electric trolley world in 2017 after announcing it will launch the first electric golf trolley with GPS technology available to the public.

Following the success of its high-performance line of trolleys in 2016 – including the half-a-million-selling Freeway range – the pioneering brand will introduce the latest GPS technology in a super-intelligent digital screen to provide golfers with distance measurements to pin positions and various hazards.

“We’re really excited about what the integrated GPS technology will offer golfers in 2017, but we can’t reveal too much about the new model just yet, other than the fact the trolley has all the features of the award-winning Freeway range and a fully integrated high-performance GPS,” said PowaKaddy CEO David Catford. “A serious amount of time, effort and investment has gone into the production of this trolley to make sure it performs to the very highest standards. Golfers will be able to manage their game from their trolley handle – a landmark moment for the electric trolley industry.”

As part of PowaKaddy’s comprehensive range in 2017, the new trolley will feature a number of the brand’s leading technologies, including the sleek and compact Plug’n’Play™ battery system that avoids any fiddly wires or connectors. It will also boast re-engineered lithium-ion battery technology, which ensures PowaKaddy Lithium delivers 20% more staying power.

More information on the new PowaKaddy trolley will be released in 2017.
