PGA Collection Kids Prove a Winner

12.43am 31st July 2012 - New Products

Sales of PGA Collection Kids clubs to professionals throughout the UK and Europe have doubled over the past twelve months.

Richard Jewell, Advanced Fellow Professional of the PGA, and MD of Sigma Golf reported that, the end of their financial year, the sales had grown by over 100%.

“We are delighted with the response we have received to our junior range. Keeping up with demand was challenging this year – often at considerable expense, having to fly products in to keep stock levels up.

“The fact that we supply clubs ‘open stock’ in such a wide selection of age groups for both boys and girls in right and left hand has certainly proved popular with our fellow pros.  We even now supply a coloured display box that can accommodate any amount of clubs to make up a set.  The advantage being that the young golfer can purchase a half set or just a couple of clubs and build up a set over a period of time.

“In the original design we made sure that, unlike many of the cheaper junior sets, our clubs were user friendly, ensuring that the shaft flex, grip thickness and weight matched the club lengths.  Also, the 1+ driver has almost 20° of loft to make it easier for the young golfer to get the ball airborne.”
