Oscar Jacobson’s Spring/Summer 19 collection features a range of stylish, performance garments that deliver fashion and function in equal measure.

Offered in blue, maroon, green and red colour themes, the Swedish brand’s SS19 collection draws heavily on its expertise in fashion tailoring and technical golf apparel, and combines Scandinavian simplicity with inspiration from Italian tailoring and the British textile tradition.

Premium polos
Oscar Jacobson’s range of polo shirts is designed suit all golfing tastes and requirements. From the sporty performance of the Chap and Chester, featuring elastane stretch and anti-wrinkle performance, to the timeless elegance of the 100% cotton Darcy – a durable, vibrant and luxurious garment. The Leonard Course, Boston Course and Aston Course polos all feature Japanese Toray fabric, which offers anti-penetration and air permeability. The super fine FieldSensor yarn also offers the benefit of UV protection (UPF30) and humidity control, while retaining a cool touch.

Performance pullovers
On cooler days, when another layer is required, the Waldorf mélange sweater will slip neatly over the top of a polo shirt. Woven in Italy from luxurious Egyptian cotton, Waldorf boasts a half-zip design with metal logo on the chest. Also in 100% Giza Egyptian cotton, the Bob sleeveless zipped sweater is lightweight and very soft to the touch. The Hawkes zip-neck jersey and Hoff zip-neck sleeveless jersey both deliver comfort and a modern fit that allows for excellent freedom of movement through the swing. The Rast round neck sweater delivers fashion detailing with contrast sleeves, while the T-neck Orson offers durability and protection from the wind.

The Ross Course Jacket

Merino collection
Pullovers and sweaters for Spring/Summer come in a variety of styles, with a wide colour range in Cashwool 100% Extrafine merino wool, including the classic V-neck Wyatt and quarter-zip Heron. The Rutger V-neck slipover completes the Cashwool line-up. Cashwool is a high-performing yarn crafted by Zegna Baruffa at its plant in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. This soft, luxurious wool was born out of intensive research in the late 1970s to find a yarn combining aesthetic beauty with top-quality performance.

Outerwear options
The Matt Course is a lightweight three-layer, four-way stretch, soft shell jacket featuring advanced cut lines for the ultimate fit. The Donovan is a wind and shower-proof knitted jersey with full stretch for maximum freedom of movement, while the Centurion is a low weight vest in a lightweight three-layer, four-way stretch soft shell fabric with high stretch ability.

For those seeking outerwear garments with more of a street-inspired look, the Ross Course Hybrid jacket with Primaloft-filled body and knitted, stretchy soft-shell sleeves, will look great on and off the fairways, as will the super-stylish Liner, a low weight vest offered in a woven fabric with a light padding.

Performance trousers
Oscar Jacobson is renowned for producing exceptional trousers and the SS19 collection showcases this heritage with a range of styles and fabrics available. Top Performance wool blend trousers feature stretch fabric along with stretch waistband and knee lining for extra comfort. Technical trousers are functional four-way stretch bottoms with superb comfort, while the classic OJ chinos are a garment dyed trouser in cotton twill with elastane for good fit and comfort. OJ Dress Shorts also feature a blend of cotton and elastane.

Accessories
The SS19 collection includes the Daniel Cap and two 100% leather belts.
