Odyssey Golf has launched a new range of Tri-Hot putters that promise to elevate the Zero Torque category with a design that promotes a more ‘natural, intuitive and comfortable’ set up that eliminates the need for forward press.
Available at retail from November 7, Square 2 Square Tri-Hot putters are offered in four models – Jailbird, Seven, Rossie, Jailbird Cruiser – and feature a blend of tungsten, steel and ultra-light aluminium, coupled with Odyssey’s new Ai-Dual Insert.
S2S Tri-Hot putters move the centre of gravity forward, so that the hosel position can be placed forward and much closer to the face than typical Zero Torque models. This innovative design promotes a more natural, intuitive and comfortable set up that eliminates the need for forward press. By strategically using aluminium, steel and over 140g of tungsten, more than 80% of the putter’s weight is placed under the topline.
In addition to moving the centre of gravity and hosel forward to promote a squarer stroke, S2S Tri-Hot features an all-new Ai Dual Insert. Designed using Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane insert has a soft outer layer and a firm inner layer, delivering consistent ball speed across the face, enhanced forward roll, and amazing feel.
A new Forward Roll Groove Design also works in conjunction with the dual layer design to improve forward roll up and down the face.
All models feature a new mid-sized pistol grip has been developed to fit comfortably in the hands and provide a better awareness of where the putter face is throughout the stroke, while the black PVD shaft is heavier and stiffer than Odyssey’s SL 90 and ideally suited for this style of putter.
