Sunderland BoraSunderland of Scotland, one of Europe’s premium golfwear brands, has launched two superb new wind shirts for 2013 which represent a breakthrough in technical performance.

The Lanark-based company’s Windwear Collection includes the latest Bora and Chinook boasting an ultra-lightweight soft-touch outer which is wind and showerproof – while its breathable properties keep you warm, dry and comfortable on the course.

For occasions when full waterproofs aren’t required, the Bora and Chinook give outstanding weather protection and, unlike many other wind shirts, the ultra-lightweight and soft material used is quiet and offers great freedom of movement.

Key features include:

  • Showerproof 100% polyester microfibre construction
  • Water, stain and oil-repellent Teflon coating
  • Zip neck
  • Adjustable drawstring at hem
  • Mesh comfort  lining
  • Elasticated cuffs with Velcro fasteners (Chinook)

Chinook (RRP £60) is the long-sleeve model while Bora (RRP £55) offers roomy half-sleeves. Both wind shirts are available in two colour choices: white/black/red and black/graphite/white and sizes S-XXXL.

The shirts showcase the excellence for which Sunderland has become world-renowned at a sensible price.

Elsewhere in Sunderland’s new Windwear Collection, golfers can enjoy the Sirocco wind shirt and ‘waterproof’ Diablo and Pampero lined sweaters.

Sunderland’s 2013 Collection incorporates over 50 products designed specifically to offer weather protection for men, lady and junior golfers, with 18 new garments including jackets, trousers, wind shirts, lined sweaters, UV shirts, bonded fleeces and gilets.
