Golfers looking to combat the cold with a more contemporary and technical fabric than wool will love the stylish new bonded fleeces from Sunderland of Scotland, one of Europe’s premium golfwear brands.
Designed in a slimmer fit with clean lines, the Lanark-based company’s Zermatt and Everest long-sleeve and gilet fleeces deliver outstanding protection while looking ultra-modern.
The advanced technical fabric used in the bonded fleeces mean they are smooth on the outside (nothing like the fleeces of old) but retain a proper fleece lining.
The result is two super-warm garments that stretch, are breathable, shower-resistant and wind resistant.
Key features include:
- 93% polyester 7% polyurethane
- Lightweight breathable fabric
- Three-layer interlock fleece
- Exceptional water repellency
- Concealed zipped hand pockets and zipped chest pocket
- Contemporary slim-fit cut
There are three colour choices in each: black/red/white, graphite/black/black and black/white/royal blue and sizes on offer are S-XXXL. Zermatt has an RRP of £85 and Everest £75.
Both fleeces form part of Sunderland’s new Coldwear Collection – a range of clothing designed primarily to combat cold weather but also offering protection against the other elements.
Other garments in the category include the popular Bonded Fleece with YKK zips.
Sunderland’s 2013 Range incorporates over 50 products designed specifically to offer weather protection for men, lady and junior golfers, with 18 new garments including jackets, trousers, wind shirts, lined sweaters, UV shirts, bonded fleeces and gilets.
