Yet again the ever versatile ATT TMSystem™ has been used as a third party fitment by an equipment manufacturer. This time Portuguese firm Turf Lynx has made the cassette system an integral part of its driverless fairway mower. It follows in the footsteps of US brand Cub Cadet that specify it on their Precise Path robot greens mower.

Seen for the first time in the UK at BTME 2016, the Turf Lynx mower is fitted with three individually controlled cutting reels in the form of ATT’s SMARTCut cassettes. The SMARTCut Cutting Cassette offers an unrivalled level of versatility and ease of maintenance with a bed knife adjustment to a fixed position cylinder to achieve consistency and quality of cut.

The SMARTCut cassette is available with 7, 11 and 14 blade options and gives a cutting height range of 1.8mm to 25mm (0.07in to 1in) to provide superb results in all situations. Using the appropriate chassis adaptor kit the cassette is fully compatible with all main-stream makes of triplex greens mowers and lightweight fairway mowers, like John Deere, Jacobsen and Toro, to enable a complete replacement of worn out OEM units.

SMARTCut cassettes are also available for ATT’s pedestrian mower, the INFiNiSystem™, in all widths from 22” up to 34” and is part of the unique ATT TMSystem™.  The system consists of a range of 10 cassettes enabling different maintenance activities to take place including aeration, brushing, scarifying and grooming.
