Market-leading electric trolley brand Motocaddy has launched a new digital video to highlight the benefits to golfers of its innovative EASILOCK™ bag-to-trolley connection system.
The informative video –presented by trick-shot specialist Jeremy Dale and available on www.motocaddy.com– explains the exclusive technology that uses a simple mechanism to securely lock a new Motocaddy cart bag onto the trolley. It highlights the two holes that feature on the bag supports of every 2014 model, which align with two pins on the base of all new cart bags –enabling golfers to firmly lock their bag onto the trolley with just an upper bag strap and avoid the hassle of bending down to secure the bottom of the bag.
“The new video has been designed to ensure that golfers are fully aware of the discreet EASILOCK technology that comes at no extra cost with every new Motocaddy trolley and bag,” said Marketing Manager Oliver Churcher. “The new connection means that not only is it quicker and simpler to attach a bag, but golfers no longer have to worry about the bag moving about on the trolley when out on the course.
“Retailers can feature the video on their websites or in-store and it provides them with even more ammunition when presenting a cart bag with an electric or push trolley to customers,” added Churcher.
As well as fitting the latest Motocaddy trolleys, the new bags with EASILOCK can also be used with the brand’s existing models or trolleys from other manufacturers thanks to the removable nature of the two locking pins.
One PGA Professional already accustomed to the latest Motocaddy innovation is Albert MacKenzie, Head Professional at the highly-rated Saunton Golf Club in Devon. “We know from speaking to golfers that instability on cart bags can sometimes cause them problems, but the new EASILOCK connection system solves those issues and it’s already making life a lot easier for our members,” said MacKenzie.
Another popular Motocaddy technology has also been showcased in a new video designed to help golfers. The QUIKFOLD mechanism –available with the brand’sS1 PRO and S3 PRO trolleys – is again demonstrated by Dale, who explains one of the simplest folding systems on the market. Thanks to a clever sliding catch that activates the mechanism and then locks the trolley once folded up or down, it can take just five seconds to fold or unfold the trolley with QUIKFOLD.
