Motocaddy, the top-selling brand in the powered golf trolley market, has launched a new set of trolley wheels that are perfect for use in wintry conditions and allow more golfers to use trolleys throughout the year.
Developed in conjunction with the Hedgehog Golf Company, the new Motocaddy Winter Wheels have been designed with an innovative anti-skid tread – more commonly seen on Hedgehog’s popular manual trolley wheel grips – that greatly reduces turf compression and protects the golf course during wet weather conditions.
“We’ve worked really hard to come up with a fairway-friendly design that protects the golf course during the winter months and makes it easier to use a trolley throughout the year,” said Motocaddy Chairman David Wells. “Hedgehog wheels are quickly becoming the wheel most golf clubs demand for trolley use in wet conditions, so we are delighted to have worked closely with them on the design.”
Made from a durable and hard-wearing construction, the Winter Wheels also feature an easy-to-use release mechanism that makes it simple to take them on and off any Motocaddy powered trolleys.
The Winter Wheels have a RRP of £69.99 and will be available from mid November 2012.
