Motocaddy launches 10th generation S1 electric trolley

9.19am 17th February 2025 - New Products

Motocaddy has introduced updated versions of its most popular electric trolley — the new S1 and S1 DHC — two decades after the original S1 was launched into the market in the UK.

S1

Now in its tenth generation, the S1 remains Motocaddy’s all-time best-selling golf trolley globally, with over 350,000 units sold. This latest version has been reimagined with an ultra-modern design, featuring a refined chassis and updated aesthetics.

The contemporary styling aligns with the brand’s M-Series compact-folding models, launched last year, highlighting a sleek automotive-inspired design developed by Motocaddy’s in-house engineering team, who harnessed virtual reality and rapid prototyping alongside A.I. technologies.

On-course functionality has also been enhanced by newly styled handle grips and low-profile wheels with high-performance tyre tread.

Features on the new S1 electric trolley include a one-step folding mechanism; a Click ‘n’ Connect cable-free battery system which automatically switches off the trolley when folded; and an integrated pop-up charging port.

Powered by an advanced 28V high-performance system, the S1 boasts an LCD display with nine speed settings, a speed indicator, and a battery meter. The Adjustable Distance Control function allows golfers to pre-set distances of up to 45 yards.

Additional features include a USB charging port for powering devices on the go, a lightweight Lithium battery for enhanced portability, and inverting wheels to optimise storage efficiency.

Available at retail this month in a graphite frame with a red trim, the new S1 has an RRP of £679.99/€779.99 with a standard lithium battery and £729.99/€829.99 for the longer-lasting Ultra Lithium battery.

S1 DHC

The S1 DHC, takes the features offered by the all-new S1 and adds Automatic Downhill Control, plus all-terrain DHC wheels and an electronic parking brake.

Downhill Control technology ensures the trolley maintains a constant speed while moving down a gradient – enabling golfers to stay in complete control around the most undulating courses for the ultimate in hands-free golfing.

Also available this month, the new S1 DHC has an RRP of £729.99/€829.99 accompanied by a Standard Lithium battery and £779.99/€879.99 for ULTRA Lithium.
