Lindeberg launches Iconic Collection

3.06pm 16th April 2019 - New Products

J.Lindeberg has launched a new menswear golf capsule collection that takes inspiration from many of the Swedish brand’s most iconic designs over the last 20 years.

The ICONIC collection features classic golf styles reinterpreted in a new and updated way, featuring hand-drawn logos to replicate Johan Lindeberg’s personal signature, as well as new and elevated materials.

Examples of iconic styles featured in the collection are the Tour Tech Shirt, the Aello Soft Compression Polo, and the classical KV Polo Shirt. The capsule also features a cap in two versions; a black sweater vest; a hoodie; a logo sweater; a black leather belt; a yellow sweater with zipper, and black and white golf trousers, which are made from Schoeller 3XDry. Colours introduced in the collection are black, white and a new bright orange tone.

“We did a big transformation within the golf concept during the last two years,” said says Jens Werner, creative director at J.Lindeberg. “Building on the heritage with the new direction and taking the best parts of our past, our most iconic styles, and reinterpreting them in a new and elevated way. The Iconic capsule collection represents exactly what we want to do with our golf line – presenting new and disruptive golf fashion where the best parts of the past have been updated to fit the modern golfer.”

The capsule collection is a continuation of last season’s art polo project, which was a series of limited-edition unique polo shirts introduced with long-time J.Lindeberg ambassador Camilo Villegas, who also models the Iconic collection in the new campaign.

The collection, which features pieces costing from £40 to £150, is available to buy from April 17 in J.Lindeberg’s own retail stores, as well as at selected wholesale accounts, including www.trendygolf.com
