Prêt à Golf launches its first Limited Edition Spring/Summer collection of designer ladies golf wear at the National Golf Show at the NEC. The Collection is aimed at customers looking for high quality golf clothes that follow current fashion.
The UK design company based in Maidstone believes this is a segment of the golfing market that has largely been ignored.
Many golf clothing manufacturers tread a relatively conservative line in terms of style when they produce their ladies ranges” says Sarah Wakley, co-founder of Prêt à Golf. “but I want to wear fashionable as well as functional clothes when I play golf, and I know there are lots of other lady golfers who feel the same.”
The Prêt à Golf Spring/Summer collection uses luxury European fabrics and current catwalk trends have been subtly adapted for the golf course including Riviera stripes, colour blocks, pleat collars and printed jerseys. The range includes sleeveless, short and three-quarter sleeved tops, layer t-shirts designed to be worn under collared tops or on their own, shorts, skorts and Capri and full length trousers. Several of the styles have been cleverly designed so different looks can be achieved from the same garment.
Prêt à Golf clothes are available to purchase online and the company launched their Online Store on 11th April to support their presence at the National Golf Show where they have been nominated Ladies Clothing Brand of the Show by the organisers.
Prêt à Golf was established in 2010 by Sarah Wakley, a keen amateur golfer and businesswoman and Victoria Snepp a fashion designer with over 11 years experience working for high street labels including Karen Millen, Whistles and Jigsaw. The company is based in the UK and will sell its range online, at various exhibition and tournament events and through a select number of pro-shops in the UK.
