Dancin’ Dogg Golf – developer of innovative virtual golf systems – announces the launch of OptiShot +3, the latest evolution of its affordable, award-winning in-home simulator that allows golfers to play world class courses any time, anywhere using their own clubs.

Created exclusively for the European market, OptiShot +3 showcases a plug-and-play interface with Windows computers and comes standard with accurate replicas of 14 courses. These are highlighted by host sites of the 2010 U.S. Open (“Monterey Classic”) and PGA Championship (“Whispering Dunes”), as well as The Players Championship (“Ponte Vedra”).

OptiShot +3 is among the quickest, easiest and most effective ways to play more golf, have fun and improve your game. It showcases crystal-clear graphics and precise visual shot feedback of clubhead speed, face angle, swing path, distance, tempo, face contact and ball flight.

“The market potential with this product is truly massive,” says the company’s European Business Manager, Mike Smith, who previously held senior roles with Nike Golf, Cobra and Dunlop Slazenger Corp. “We all want to play outside, but when the weather turns you can now take a golf holiday toAmericaand other destinations without leaving the sitting room.”

Additional features of OptiShot +3 (MRRP £449 / €539) include the ability to:

“Golfers and institutions in the UK and Europe have very specific needs and OptiShot +3 was developed to address them all,” says Dancin’ Dogg CEO Brandon Theophilus. “The early reception from retailers, corporations, schools, sporting organizations and everyday players confirms we’re on the right track.”

The OptiShot +3 system requires less than three metres of swing space. With their own clubs, players can compete and practice by hitting real balls, foam balls (provided) or no ball at all off a durable swing pad with embedded infrared sensors. In addition to Core courses that come with OptiShot +3, users can purchase premium courses, use the par-3 option, or hit balls on a realistic driving range.
