Husqvarna has launched a new range of autonomous robotic mowers designed for commercial use, including golf courses.
At retail now, this AI-ready platform includes three robotic mowers — 580L EPOS, 580 EPOS and 560 EPOS — all of which offer advanced autonomous capabilities, wire-free mowing, and selectable cutting patterns. These features enable businesses to effortlessly maintain their turf while saving time, cutting costs, and enhancing turf quality.

The new platform is engineered to be future-proof, with the capability to incorporate new features as they become available. After launch, it will offer benefits like compatibility with a new solar panel charger for remote sites, tailored to work seamlessly with the platform. Furthermore, it is AI-ready, with its first applications being a camera that provides night vision and exceptional obstacle avoidance capabilities. The camera application will be available 2026 and compatible with the three new models.
Automower 580L EPOS: Geared towards golf courses, the 580L comes equipped with a low-cut disc enabling cutting heights from 50mm down to as low as 10mm. The powerful cutting, wire-free operation and selectable mowing patterns makes this model ideal for mowing fairways and roughs. This model is optimised for maximum uptime with remote start options.
Capable of cutting up to 16,000 m² (4 acres) in 48 hours, the 580L can handle slopes of up to 45% and boasts a 80W cutting motor. RRP: €8,999 (£7,558 approx).
Automower 580 EPOS: Primarily designed for sports fields with its powerful cutting motor and large area capacity. It operates wire-free, enabling easy installation and maintenance. This model provides an additional layer of flexibility for sports turf management, catering to specific needs of turf height and playing conditions. Furthermore it comes with remote start capabilities to maximise uptime.

Capable of cutting up to 12,000 m² (3 acres) in 48 hours, the 560 can manage slopes of up to 50% and boasts a 40W cutting motor. RRP: €6,999 (£5,895 approx).
