An extraordinary golf equipment brand is staging a three-day customer experience at the luxury Stoke Park Country Club, Spa and Hotel in Buckinghamshire, UK, in late August.

Japanese clubmaker Honma is known worldwide for hand-crafting the finest golf clubs imaginable, and this is a rare opportunity for golfers based in the UK to try them over an extended period.

Running from Wednesday August 26th to Friday August 28th, the three-day event – which is open to the public – will feature Honma’s full 2015 range of clubs.

90-minute personal appointments with Honma’s expert custom-fitter Mathieu Humel can be booked in advance, and he will also be available to answer questions and assist in impromptu Honma taster sessions.

Every item of Honma golf equipment is produced by hand in its famed Sakata studio in northern Japan, where over 250 professional clubmakers – including an elite Honma team of ‘takumi’ master craftsmen – build and assemble bespoke golf clubheads and shafts to order. At least 100 people work on each individual club.

When tested with the latest launch monitor technology, Honma’s performance statistics are startling when compared to other brands. Golfers will be able to compare how their current clubs perform against Honma at Stoke Park during the three-day event.

A set of Honma irons ranges from £1,130 to over £60,000 in the ultimate 5 Star specification. Individual woods are priced between £400 and £5,600, and individual iron clubs including putters and wedges range from £195 to £4,800.
