Glenmuir has pushed the boundaries of sustainable knitwear technology by introducing a waterproof Touch of Cashmere knitwear collection and performance outerwear in its Autumn Winter 2023 collection.
The striking colour stories continue for AW23 with on trend colours amethyst and marine green as well as classic colours tahiti and candy.
GOLF SWEATERS & KNITWEAR
Glenmuir has taken its signature Touch of Cashmere zip neck golf sweaters and injected cutting edge German Bionic water-repellent technology. This results in unique knitwear pieces which are breathable, showerproof, stretch, soft to touch and anti-pill. g.Solway is knitted into a herringbone texture with an elegant placket consisting of mock suede zip jets and an embossed mock leather zip puller. Combining a classic birdseye knit with contemporary colour blocks on the shoulders and side panels is g.Strathern, whilst a sporty take on knitwear is exemplified in g.Biggar with a combination on marl and solid colour blocking and ribbed highlight stripes. This new collection meets the needs of the modern discerning golfer offering full versatility to play in all seasons.
For ladies’ golf knitwear, g.Becca and g.Jody are extremely elegant ladies designs, g.Becca fuses rib and cable knitting techniques to create a directional pattern on the front body with silver lurex tipping detail whilst g.Ellis has an intricately ribbed design creating a pattern of diamonds. The g.Cassidy Zip neck sweater has a beautiful birdseye argyle on the front body, a contemporary take on traditional golf wear style. Each piece of knitwear is hand-knitted by craftsmen with stitches linked manually resulting in a long-lasting perfect fit and resilient flat seams and have the same Bionic water-repellent technology giving them showerproof capabilities.
Brand new in the ladies’ lined sweaters category is g.Penelope, a beautiful piece of ladies’ Italian merino wool knitwear enhanced by adding soft touch lining for an extra wind resistant layer. It also features the Bionic water-repellent finish, a zipped neck and ribbed detail at the side seams, available in 3 colourways including Charcoal Marl, Navy Marl and Amethyst Marl.

It is both water and wind resistant and provides thermal properties whilst remaining breathable for optimum comfort.
In the men’s padded golf outerwear collection, we can now see the introduction of Glenmuir’s Tartan print.
