Renowned for ease-of-use and providing an exceptional fit, this high-performance dial-driven closure system that is exclusive to FootJoy in the golf industry, has undergone significant design improvements to ensure that golfers are guaranteed the most precise fit of any lacing system on the market.
Meeting an ever-growing demand from consumers for this state-of-the-art mechanism, the BOA L4 Closure System is now available for the first time ever in two of the most recognised shoes on worldwide professional tours, FJ ICON and FJ Sport as well continuing to be an instrumental option in the Contour Series and Women’s DryJoys. Encompassing a number of significant improvements and refinements, the new BOA L4 Closure System takes footwear comfort and fit to unparalleled levels. The Dial-driven BOA tightening mechanism that connects to the BOA lace is now even-more precise, with one click now equating to roughly one millimetre of lace pull, resulting in a superior glove-like fit. The BOA Lace has also been upgraded and is manufactured from aircraft-grade stainless steel, twisted into bundles that are then woven into other bundles, making it gram for gram stronger than tank armour.

Whereas traditional laces and bungee-driven systems stretch and give, BOA is low in friction, extremely strong and designed for precision, reliability and consistency. Inside the BOA dial, teeth turn, pulling the BOA lace and locking it firmly into place ensuring an even closure with no pressure points.
With the simple turn of a dial and a matter of seconds, golfers are able to dial in the perfect fit in a fraction of the time it takes to tie shoe laces.
