Danish brand ECCO – a leading global manufacturer of trend-setting footwear – announces the launch of its Classic Hybrid model with a sleek, traditional upper set atop a hybrid outsole that seamlessly transitions from the golf club to nearly any off course activity.

Supremely weather resistant through the proprietary, tanned-in ECCO Hydromax™ leather treatment, Classic Hybrid is geared toward players of all ages and abilities. It’s available in three different leather types and upper patterns – including a throwback kiltie model – each with a distinctly refined look and feel.

“The women’s market will always require shoes with a traditional look, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for enhanced convenience and advanced technologies,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO. “And, of course, we’ve included a range of on-trend colourways, such as a great white and beetroot combo that really pops.”

Part of the 2013 collection slated to be worn on Tour by stunning LPGA sensation Belén Mozo, the new Classic Hybrid also boasts:

  • Patented ECCO Street outsole with approximately 100 moulded traction bars and more than 800 traction angles for excellent grip in all conditions
  • Traction bars constructed from TPU – a highly durable, wear-resistant material
  • Lining made from Second Skin – the world’s softest leather – to wick moisture and create a rich interior feel
  • Removable ECCO Comfort Fibre System insole increases air circulation and creates a fresh, cool inner climate

RRP: £150
