Ecco Golf has added several new styles to its women’s Biom Hybrid 3 range, with the Gore-Tex waterproof design now available in a range of new colour combinations that feature a derby-cut lacing style.

Ecco Golf’s lead designer, Andrzej Bukowski, looked for new ways to adapt the shoe to provide a fresh and eye-catching visual. He said: “Building on the success of the Ecco Biom Hybrid 3 model we wanted to continue the story by refining the appearance of the shoe and introducing some modern, considered designs. The addition of these new styles will help to provide depth to the range and we envisage continued success for this outstanding shoe in 2019.”

The Biom Hybrid 3 features Ecco’s unique Tri-Fi-Grip outsole, three boasts three zonal performance elements; one for stability, another for durability and a third for rotational support. Each is formed from ultra-durable TPU, meaning the shoes can be worn on and off course without affecting performance.

Additional features include Yak leather uppers with Gore-Tex waterproof protection; a Biom Natural Motion anatomical last with extra cushioning and support; removable Ortholite inlay soles, offering long-term cushioning, enhanced breathability, moisture management and the option of extra width; and an option BOA closure system.

As is the case with all of the golf shoes in Ecco Golf’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection, the Biom Hybrid 3 is crafted at company-owned factories that utilise Fluidform technology to bond the upper and outsole unit, creating a durable, supple and integral bond between the sole and its leather upper without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include flexibility, durability and a lightweight construction.

The Biom Hybrid 3 has an RRP of £170 with standard laces, and £185 with a BOA closure.
