Italian fashion brand Duca del Cosma is introducing its most advanced range of golf shoes for Spring/Summer 2021, incorporating new performance-enhancing technology and eco-friendly features aimed at the modern golfer looking for a stylish and sporty look on and off the course.
The colourful range includes several recyclable upper and outsole innovations, including the first fully recyclable spikeless TPU outsole from the brand that pioneered the spikeless golf shoe more than a decade ago.
In addition to its renowned European high-quality leather and hand-crafted manufacture, the latest premium collection from Duca del Cosma offers a selection of competitively priced waterproof shoes for men and women that feature a new recyclable microfibre sock system.

A standout new technology featured in the latest range involves the Airplay XII Outsole, made from fully recyclable rubber and providing the most advanced grip system of any Duca del Cosma shoe to date. Golfers can swing smoothly in the spikeless shoes, thanks to a pivot point under the ball of the foot having triangular nubs that twist in two directions and allow for a smooth swing while still maintaining optimal surface grip.
Another outsole innovation comes in the form of the new Airplay IV model. Functional nubs on the lightweight sole ensure optimal grip and a fashionable design matched with an EVA cushioning system ensures stylish comfort round after round.
Perfect as the inner lining for waterproof golf shoes, antibacterial onSteam technology features a new 100%breathable microfibre with the feel of leather, but an absorption capacity eight times its weight in water. The temperature-regulating effect when used in the microfibre sock system offers maximum comfort and keeps the foot completely dry, as the durable and washable fabric prevents sweat accumulating inside the shoe by promoting fast evaporation.
The first golf shoes to benefit from these innovations are the TOMCAT and WILDCAT styles for men and women. Featuring onSteam lining and an ARNEFLEX insole with heel support for waterproofing, breathability and comfort, they are among the lightest shoes in the new collection, thanks to a 100% recyclable microfibre upper. The bi-coloured Airplay XII outsole is made from fully recyclable, lightweight rubber and delivers optimal grip. The TOMCAT is positioned at the height of golf shoe innovation and the ideal style for golfers in search of a lightweight shoe with advanced performance technologies.
Another pairing predicted to generate a lot of interest are the new KINGSCUP and QUEENSCUP styles. Made using a combination of recyclable microfibre and soft Nappa leather, the shoes are extremely comfortable and sustainable. The exclusive onSteam waterproof lining and ARNEFLEX insole ensure that they are also super breathable and lightweight. Both functional models have an Airplay III outsole with unique 5mm nubs that provide extra traction and stability on the course.
In the men’s range, the ELPASO is a stylish spikeless version of a traditional golf shoe. Incorporating all the features of a modern golf shoe, the combination of leather and recyclable microfibre in the upper gives this classic design an eco-friendly update. It also makes this model lighter than other traditional styles on the market. Among the latest technologies featured in the are the onSteam lining and ARNEFLEX insole, for both waterproofing and breathability. The spikeless Airplay XI outsole also gives this classic look a modern feel.
Retained lines with new colourways include the ELDORADO, BELAIR, MONTEROSSO and FLYER styles, while Navy is a carry-over colour in the spiked MASTERS model. The colour options for the spiked HERITAGE shoe stay the same.
Among the leading shoes in the women’s spikeless collection are the new ATLANTIS and SIREN styles, plus the established MARQUESSA and KUBANA models featuring fashionable animal prints. The CYPRESS spiked shoe remains as a carry-over model in White and Navy.
Other colours in the ladies’ collection include Olive green, Orange, Crema, Kobalt blue, Light grey, Cognac, Pink, Silver and Gold.
