Following a record-breaking sell-in and sell-through period in the UK, Italian golf fashion brand Duca del Cosma has seen its hand-crafted leather golf shoes credited with Editor’s Choice awards from the specialist golf press for the second year running.
The brand, which introduced the first spikeless golf shoe in 2006, has made a strong start to the year following the signing of Dutch tour star Joost Luiten and the launch of the SS21 collection that pushes the boundaries in terms of performance and style.
Offering a classic look with a modern twist, the Men’s ELPASO shoe picked up a Golf Monthly Editor’s Choice award and was described by the editorial team as ‘one of the best golf shoes on the market this year’.
The shoe features a 100% leather upper for superior comfort, while recyclable microfibre in the sock system gives the shoe an eco-friendly update. Both the OnSteam lining and ARNEFLEX insert sole provide waterproofing and breathability, while the innovative Airplay XI outsole adds a striking modern look.
The brand’s ELDORADO was selected for an Editor’s Choice award by Today’s Golfer in the ‘Spikeless Shoes’ category. Commended for its superior grip and stability, the editorial team said, ‘the traction nubs are some of the most aggressive on any shoe,’ making the fully waterproof model a suitable choice in the most demanding conditions.

America’s No.1 golf magazine credited the FLYER and ELPASO models in the ‘Best Men’s Shoes of 2021’ category, while the BELLEZZA and ESTI made the shortlist in the ‘Best Women’s Golf Shoes of 2021’ listings.
