Peter Jones, the new owner of UK golf retailer American Golf, has thrown more of his money at the game with the purchase of SWISH, a new golf ball cleaning device that was presented to him and his fellow dragons on the most recent episode of BBC’s Dragons’ Den, which aired on February 5.
SWISH secured a rare triple-dragon deal, impressing three of the show’s investors – Jones, Touker Suleyman and Gary Neville, each of whom offered £30,000 for 10% equity.
Ben and Natalia Reeves, the founders of SWISH, accepted the combined £90,000 investment for a 30% share of the business, marking one of the standout deals of the series.
The partnership has already moved into its next phase with SWISH now available to buy online at American Golf. As part of Jones’ growing investment in the golf sector, this will give golfers across the UK immediate access to this innovative product.
