Chervo ‘Happy Goose’ Lining: The Perfect Alternative For Animal Lovers

1.02pm 28th November 2014 - New Products

Chervo 26225_LLeading Italian golf and leisure clothing brand Chervò is offering a unique alternative for customers who want to stay warm this winter without wearing a down-lined jacket – a 100% animal-friendly lining known as ‘Happy Goose’.

The stylish brand, famed for its superb cold weather golf apparel including waterproof suits and windproof jackets, developed the ‘Happy Goose’ lining to sit alongside its more traditional down jackets.

The ‘Happy Goose’ lining retains many of the properties of down – including light weight, soft touch and protection from cold winter temperatures – but is guaranteed to be absolutely free of animal down.

Garments are instead padded with synthetic flocks of material that offer improved hygiene and easier care.

A spokesperson for Chervò said: “At Chervò, we pride ourselves on offering both the highest quality garments and a range of choice, so every golfer can find something for them in our range.

“The ‘Happy Goose’ 100% animal-free down was created to cater for those customers who do not want to wear a product containing animal down, but who still want to benefit from the quality of our winter golf wear.

“Of course, all our animal down is ethically sourced and we will still produce jackets featuring animal down – it remains a superbly warm and lightweight material and one we will continue to use. But by offering such a high-quality alternative, we believe we are offering customers genuine choice, which is always a very positive thing.”
