Big Max has announced three new additions to its golf bag line up for 2019, each boasting its own combination of innovative technology.
The Big Max Dri Lite Hybrid (£169.99) combines the brand’s water-resistant technology and the brand’s unique hybrid base for dual cart and carry bag usage. Dri Lite technology creates a water-resistant bag that is the equal of what most golf brands call ‘waterproof’. With a 2.000mm waterproof rating, Big Max would be in its rights to call it waterproof, but with its Aqua range rated at 10,000mm, it is happy to call Dri Lite water resistant, knowing it will keep all but the wettest weather at bay.
The hybrid mechanism is powered by a footless flat base and leg lock system that enables it to sit perfectly square and secure on a trolley or buggy while a neat cut out section adds further stability when sat on a trolley. With seven waterproof pockets, 14-way full length dividers, and a host of features, the 2kg Hybrid has all the function of the best cart bags. But take the hybrid out on itsown and it transforms to a lightweight stand bag. The footless stand mechanism works exactly like any other stand bag, while the air channel straps allow for breathability and comfort.
Big Max Dri Lite Silencio (£199.99)boasts a 14-way organiser top to secure every club in place, stopping them from knocking together, reducing all noise and damage from excess movement. Nine pockets, a 9.5-inch top and a lightweight (3.9 kg) design all add to the water-resistant practicality.
The Big Max Heaven 7 (£69.99) is a spacious winter bag, with its larger top designed to take four more clubs than the average pencil bag. Weighing 1.6 kg and featuring four large pockets, glove and towel holder and air channel straps for comfortable carry, the Heaven 7 is a practical lightweight stand bag.
