Bandobras is the new golf towel company that creates original and exclusive designs for its customers. With well-known brands like Centurion Club, Make A Wish foundation, Lyle & Scott and Help for Heroes on their towels already, the company has made a big impact pre-launch.
The company was started by Lucas Lee in 2020 during the height of the pandemic and is now joined by golfing leader Niall Flanagan. Niall has previously been CEO at Loch Lomond and has also held senior positions at St Andrew’s Links Trust, Dubai Golf & Country Club, Celtic Manor and Wentworth Club.
“It’s great to have Niall come on board, adding years of golfing experience to the team. We have huge ambitions of being the number one towel in golf, and Niall’s blog and history will help us achieve that goal,” says Lucas Lee, Bandobras founder.
The designs that Bandobras create are printed directly onto their waffle fabric and are completely unique to each customer, opening up a whole host of creative possibilities. The company has ensured they’ve done everything possible to be sustainably aware, including using recycled materials for the towel itself, reducing any unnecessary labelling and using biodegradable packaging.
Niall Flanagan adds: “After sitting down with Lucas and learning more about his vision of turning what is normally a dull, uninspired product, into a creative accessory to show a players personality, I knew I had to get involved. We’re now talking with some of the most well-known clubs, organisations and travel companies in golf, and they’re all taken back by the designs.”
“These towels are designed specifically for our customers, so nothing we do is off the shelf, meaning they’re extremely exclusive. This is something Lucas has taken from his experience in men’s fashion, and I think it will be a great addition to any golfers bag.”
