adidas Golf is expanding its range of golf shoes made from recycled materials with the launch of the ZG21 Motion.
Building on the success of the ZG21 range of footwear released earlier this summer, the ZG21 Motion is a lightweight spiked-performance shoe which boasts a high-performance mesh upper which is made with a minimum of 50 per cent of recycled materials, and provides comfort, stability and waterproof protection.
Other features include an ultra-light stability fin, BOOST cushioning in the heel, and a Swingplane Traction outsole. All models come with a one-year waterproof warranty.
Offered in lace and BOA closures for men and women, the ZG21 Motion BOA features a higher cut design and offers a sock-like opening for added comfort, alongside the new PerformFit Wrap powered by the BOA Fit System. This ‘Y’-strap design offers an even higher level of performance, creating a secure fit over the instep and provides flexibility and freedom in the toe area.
Masun Denison, adidas Golf’s global director of footwear, said: “ZG21 really filled a hole that we felt existed in the industry when it came to lightweight spiked footwear, and we’ve heard nothing but positive feedback around its design. That being said, we wanted to push the limits and see what was possible in regard to how we incorporated more sustainable materials without sacrificing performance, that when we say ‘zero compromise’ we truly mean it.”
ZG21 Motion is available to buy from adidas.com, the adidas app and at select retail partners worldwide.
