Wilson Golf has extended its Staff Model wedge range with the launch of the Tour Grind sole model which is designed for players looking for increased touch and precision around the greens.
Created in collaboration with Wilson’s group of tour players, the wedge caters for those wanting to open the clubface to shape different types of greenside shots from a variety of lies.
“The new Staff Model Tour Grind wedges offer golfers the chance to play a wedge inspired by the custom grinds made for Tour players like Gary Woodland and Padraig Harrington,” said Jon Pergande, Global Manager of Innovation at Wilson Golf. “The sole offers a clean design and a precision milled clubface, allowing golfers to increase shot-making capabilities and it complements our existing Staff Model line of wedges perfectly,” he added.
Available in 56, 58 and 60-degree options, and made from forged 8620 carbon steel, the Tour Grind wedge provides a soft touch for an increased feel at impact, while machine-engraved score lines in the precision milled face create a higher density pattern for maximum spin and control on every shot.
True Temper Dynamic Gold 120 steel shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips are fitted as standard.
RRP: £109/€130.
