As the WorldGolf.com network continues to revamp many of its key web sites in an effort to enhance what is already known as the internet’s most comprehensive network of golf-related Web sites, the network has announced the redesign and relaunch of its flagship Web site, WorldGolf.com.
The improvements to WorldGolf.com, complete with a new logo and page design, create a theme and style that will serve as the base design for the more than 300 golf-related web sites operating under the WorldGolf.com network umbrella.
Internal changes to WorldGolf.com have made it more user-friendly as the site has been modified to achieve peak search engine optimization while providing a cleaner, more contemporary look.
With the new changes, visitors now have easier access to several of the most popular site features including the constantly updated course review section, travel blogs and pod casts that discuss the latest industry news and events. Visitors can also post comments, read reviews, search an extensive database of course photos and view a list of the hottest golf destinations in the world.
All of the sites within the WorldGolf.com network utilize a customized golf-quote system that allows site visitors to receive package quotes for golf getaways that take into consideration the location, date, number of golfers and preferred tee times before emailing an estimated package quote to the visitor. Once the visitor receives this quote, they can either book the package or revise the search parameters and search again.
WorldGolf.com is a network of Internet sites that reach more than 2.5 million golfers a month through the 300 golf sites, which include TravelGolf.com, GolfEurope.com, LasVegasGolf.com, GolfArizona.com, FloridaGolfGuide.com, GolfCourseRealty.com and WorldGolfWire.com.
In January of 2007, the WorldGolf.com network was purchased by an investor group, WorldGolf.com LLC, whose members possess more than 100 years combined experience in golf, travel, marketing and Web-based industries. WorldGolf.com LLC manages and operates all sites within the WorldGolf.com network and continues to expand the content available on each site.
“We are very pleased with the progress that we have been making with the redesign and relaunch of WorldGolf.com and several other sites in the WorldGolf.com network,” said Will McIntosh, CEO of the WorldGolf.com network. “As we continue to develop the network, our goal is to grow and enhance what is already a tremendously popular site amongst golfers throughout the world.”
