‘Today’s Golfer’ appoints new Equipment Editor

Simon Daddow will be responsible for TG's equipment content both in the magazine, its all-new website, on social media and via other exciting new digital launches

Today's Golfer logoBritain’s leading golf media brand, Today’s Golfer, has appointed a new Equipment Editor – Simon Daddow.

Simon will be responsible for TG’s equipment content both in Britain’s best-selling golf magazine, its all-new website, on social media and via other exciting new digital launches.

For the last six years, Simon has been lead designer at British golf club brand Benross, where he has played a key role in growing their market share. That gives him a unique understanding of how golf clubs perform, and how they can help our consumers play better golf.

Simon says: “I’m really excited to be joining Today’s Golfer at such an exciting time in its development. The magazine is still the best-selling title in the UK, rightly famous for its equipment coverage.

“But I am really looking forward to developing content for the new website, on video, for social media, and strengthening TG’s reputation as the go-to place for equipment tests, news and advice.”

Today’s Golfer Editor Chris Jones added: “Simon is the most knowledgeable golf equipment journalist in the UK – so it’s a real coup to get someone with his level of knowledge on board. He’s a huge asset to the brand.

“This will be Simon’s second stint on the magazine, having been here in the mid-2000s before he moved to Benross. Simon’s ideas and desire to deliver engaging equipment content on multiple platforms has shone through and his vision to keep up with the ever-changing media landscape will cement the Today’s Golfer brand at the forefront of UK golf media.”
