TNT Sports to show live coverage of LIV Golf League in UK & Ireland

Mainstream subscription TV channel agrees multi-year deal to screen all events of the LIV Golf season in UK & Ireland

TNT Sports has announced a new multi-year agreement to add the LIV Golf League to its extensive sports offering across its channels and platforms in the UK and Ireland.

LIV Golf League events were previously shown on free-to-air channel ITV in the UK last year, but will move to subscription channel TNT Sports and its streaming platform discovery+ for the upcoming campaign, which gets underway next month at the ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh (Feb 4-7).

As LIV Golf’s UK and Ireland broadcast partner, TNT Sports has said that it will look to ‘dedicate on-site presentation, delivering comprehensive coverage across the LIV Golf season’.

Scott Young, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe said: “Showcasing some of the world’s best male golfers playing on LIV Golf is a positive addition to TNT Sports’ portfolio of premium live sport, further placing our channels and platforms as a leading destination for all the sports you love. It also allows us to further reward our existing base of fans by bringing them huge golf events throughout the year as part of their subscription.

“LIV Golf has an incredible energy and a host of world-class players and we’re excited to bring TNT Sports’ storytelling and production know-how to help bring competitions to even more sports fans. With iconic venues, top players and a compelling newly refreshed format, this partnership allows us to bring fans even more of the stories and action than ever before.”

Örjan Olsson, SVP of International Media Rights at LIV Golf, said: “Our new partnership with TNT Sports represents a historic moment for LIV Golf as we cement our footprint in one of the most important and influential sports territories in the world. TNT Sports delivers sport with intensity, ambition, and scale – qualities that match LIV Golf,” said “Together, we’re bringing fans in the UK a reimagined golf experience with sharper storytelling, deeper narratives across our League, Teams and players, and unprecedented access to our biggest stars and teams. We’re looking forward to setting a new benchmark with TNT Sports for how golf is presented, experienced, and enjoyed by millions of fans.”

In a change to previous seasons, LIV Golf events in 2026 will be played over four days and 72 holes, instead of three days and 54 holes, and will feature 57 players competing across 13 teams, alongside five wild card entrants.
