Golf YouTube star Rick Shiels is to record his weekly podcast in front of live audience at the Lowry Theatre in Salford on October 9.
The live show will celebrate 100 episodes of Shiel’s podcast, The Rick Shiels Golf Show, and will be a chance for the audience to engage with the show, ask questions and watch all the usually features live.
The show will include popular segments such as Dear Rick, Nightmare Golf Shot, Stupid Golf Rules, Change My Mind, alongside conversations with a line up of special guests still to be announced.
Launching in November 2019, The Rick Shiels Golf Show Podcast is delivered every Tuesday across Apple, Amazon and Spotify, and has quickly amassed a loyal, international following. Hosted by PGA Professional Rick Shiels and producer Guy Charnock, The Rick Shiels Golf Show Podcast is the leading golf podcast in 20 countries.
Shiels first launched a YouTube channel in 2011 whilst coaching at Trafford Golf Centre in Manchester. In 2019 it became the world’s most subscribed and most watched golf YouTube channel, and in Summer 2020 became the first golf focused channel to surpass the 1 million subscriber milestone.
