Square Mile magazine has announced that its annual golf awards will return for the second time this December. The leading luxury lifestyle publication for the City of London, which launched in 2005, will celebrate the players, courses and kit that have made the biggest waves in the golfing world in 2016.
Expanding on last year’s awards, new categories including best spa, destination, equipment manufacturer and apparel will be judged by a panel of experts, including Square Mile’s golf editor Nick Bayly, and editor of Square Mile Mark Hedley.
Mark Hedley said: “The financial services industry has always had a special link to golf, and that theme has continued in 2016. With that in mind, our second annual golf awards have grown to represent the many facets of this excellent sport.”
Owing to the continued interest in golf by its City readership, Square Mile will also host its inaugural golf day next spring, which will bring together readers and some of the best brands from the world of golf.
Square Mile magazine was created in 2005 and is the leading luxury lifestyle publication for the City of London. It is distributed every month to nearly 60,000 affluent business people working in the financial services industry.
