The R&A has launched a new podcast that features stories from the history of The Open Championship as told by the world’s greatest golfers.
The Open Conversation is hosted by George Harper Jnr, along with BBC Golf correspondent guest presenter Iain Carter, who are joined by a series of Champion Golfers, including Tom Watson, Henrik Stenson, Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry, Louis Oosthuizen, Francesco Molinari and Mark Calcavecchia, in conversations about their memories of lifting the famous Claret Jug.
European Tour stars Matthew Fitzpatrick and Robert Macintyre talk about their Open debuts and the first tee nerves that come with playing alongside the world’s best players in front of the packed grandstands, while Ryder Cup hero Tommy Fleetwood reflects on last year’s runner-up finish at Royal Portrush.
