The directors of PSP Media Group are delighted to announce that the company has been purchased by Scotland’s biggest media conglomerate, DC Thomson Media. The acquisition – which includes all print publications, events, digital and social media platforms and staff – is an extremely exciting time for PSP and all of its clients.
PSP Managing Director Paul Grant commented: “PSP has built up an excellent reputation over the last 24 years for delivering quality publications, events and digital strategies for its clients. To now be acquired by Scotland’s most respected media business is testament to the hard work that our team has done over the years on behalf of our clients.
“This marks a new and exciting chapter for PSP and its clients as DC Thomson Media is committed to growing the business and continuing to build on the excellent foundations that already exist here at PSP.”
Grant added that staff and management are excited and committed to the next stage of PSP’s journey.
“Operationally, everything will remain the same,” he added. “PSP will retain its name and continue to be based at its Glasgow HQ where, with the support of our new parent company, we will continue to deliver the quality and service that you, our valued clients, have experienced over the years.”
Mike Watson, Chief Executive Officer at DC Thomson Media, said, “I’m thrilled to have the PSP team join the business. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in areas and sectors that align brilliantly with DC Thomson Media, and I look forward to working with the team to make the most of the opportunities this brings.”
