9.15am 15th October 2001 - Media

The publishers claim that Golf Between The Ears is the first guide to overcoming the mental problems posed by golf which addresses the subject in a straightforward and easy to understand format. The book caters for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Golf Between The Ears is based upon extensive research amongst golfers of all handicaps to discover what it is in the mind that prevents many of them from realising their full potential. Actual case studies are described, along with tips and solutions. These solutions refer back to ‘The Basic Mental Skills’, which form the core of the book.

The book has been praised by top golf professionals including Jim Christine, a member of the Golf International teaching panel and the boards of both Ryder Cup Ltd and the PGA. “Using an easy to understand format that includes solving actual problems Golf Between The Ears gives a clear insight into how we can help ourselves,” he said. “There is something useful in it for every golfer who wants to improve his mental skills.”

For every copy ordered via the website £1.00 will be donated to the Golf Foundation. The book is also available through bookshops at £12.99 ISBN 1 85821 929 9
