Golf media brand National Club Golfer is elevating its equipment and instruction output across social and video with the appointment of tour player Nicola Slater as Equipment Content Creator.
Following a landmark year in 2025 which saw NCG’s social channels generate over 100 million views, the business is doubling down on its commitment to engaging, accessible and modern golf coverage.
Slater’s appointment marks a significant step in expanding equipment storytelling and reaching new audiences across social platforms.
Slater brings elite playing credentials and expertise to her new role at NCG. A two-time Yorkshire Junior Girls Champion and Women’s Champion, she spent three years as a member of the England Women’s and Girls’ squads and represented her country in the Women’s Home Internationals.
A University of Stirling golf scholar, Slater turned professional in 2024. Among her standout achievements is a course-record 66 (10 under par) on the Old Course at St Andrews in the final round of the St Rule Trophy, underlining her pedigree at the highest level of amateur competition.
As a content creator, Slater will focus on relatable coverage that resonates with everyday golfers. She will lead on NCG’s equipment content while also producing engaging stories from across the game, bringing personality and insight to clubs, technology and the people behind them.
She will work as part of a dedicated marketing team focused on growing NCG’s digital golf content footprint and responding to the increasing demand for authentic storytelling.
Slater will front content aligned to Your Golf, the NCG channel that aims to make golf less intimidating and more enjoyable for everyday players, with simple swing tips and advice on fitness, rules, on-course etiquette, the mental side of the game and gear reviews.
