Motocaddy, the global market leader in electric trolley sales, has continued its recent success of annual golf media awards after its flagship M7 GPS and M7 REMOTE models were rated 1# and #2 in the 2023 MyGolfSpy ‘Most Wanted’ listing.
The top rating Stateside follows Motocaddy scooping nine product accolades in the most recent UK golf media Editor’s Choice awards, selected by the two leading publications Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer.
The top rankings on MyGolfSpy – the independent website with more than 80 million readers worldwide – continues an unrivalled hot streak for the brand, as a Motocaddy electric trolley has been chosen as the ‘Most Wanted’ winner for an unprecedented fourth year-in-a-row, following the M7 REMOTE model taking top spot in each of the last three years.
The 2023 ‘Most Wanted’ winner, the M7 GPS, was launched earlier this year to global acclaim as the world’s first remote-control electric trolley with touchscreen GPS. It scored an incredible 98 out of 100 overall in the test, with MyGolfSpy taking buying considerations such as cost versus performance, compatibility and size into account.
“To win four in-a-row is an incredible achievement and we thank MyGolfSpy for continuing to highlight the benefits of electric trolleys,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher. “The win continues our growing popularity with American golfers who love using our remote models, and it’s great to see more golfers walking the course than ever before. We’ll continue to push boundaries and offer golfers on both sides of the Atlantic products designed to enhance their game,” he added.
Finishing first in three out of five scoring categories – including manoeuvrability, ease of use and features – the popular website said of the winning model: ‘The Motocaddy M7 GPS is the best electric golf trolley for 2023. It’s the most feature-filled electric push cart out there. Nothing comes close. The large touchscreen GPS makes the overall user experience an absolute dream. Filled with features like a bright GPS display and USB charging for your phone. The M7 GPS is extremely manoeuvrable thanks to its swivelling front wheel and remote-control feature.’
The M7 REMOTE scored an impressive 96 overall, coming in joint 1st place in manoeuvrability and 2nd place in ease of use and features. MyGolfSpy said: ‘There’s a reason it’s been a perennial winner. The Motocaddy M7 REMOTE boasts great manoeuvrability and awesome features and the remote control is easy to use. It also features manual mode if you want to hold on while you walk.’
