GRN launches Golf Courses4Sale

8.45am 17th October 2008 - Media

A new section of Golf Range News (GRN) will focus each month on the various golf courses, ranges, golf centres and business opportunities that arise within the golf industry.

“We will not be selling golf villas and residential properties – unless it forms part of a business – as this is well catered for by others,” said Rohan Barnett for GRN. “The new section will also be available on line – – and we are hoping that this will perform a valuable service to the industry, as well as be interesting to our readers.”

“Advertisements for golf businesses can be sent directly to us in print ready format, or we will endeavour to set your ad to the best of our abilities,” added Colin Jenkins. “We carry a number of advertisements from reputable agents. These agents are professional and will charge accordingly for their services – while this may seem like an additional cost, we would recommend that you use an agent and take advantage of their experience and expertise in what can be a stressful process.

“An agent will insist on getting accurate accounts and details for a business prior to a sale. Gathering this information may seem like a chore to a prospective vendor, however the figures will definitely be required by any interested purchasers, so to prepare it in advance will save many problems during the process of the sale.

“When one is considering the option of either buying or selling a business there is much to consider. Rohan and I are available to offer confidential advice to anyone in this position – we are happy to sign non-disclosure / confidentiality agreements and do not charge anything for our initial help. We can be contacted on the telephone numbers 01580 715248, 01580 715043 or by email –,
